Just posting so you know i'm not dead. I'm not truly supposed to be on. I mean, I sort of am.

Ah, long story short, I won't be on too often, and right now I don't give half a flying fuck. It's not like I do anything worth posting on here, anyway. xD

EDIT: Just dropping in to leave a hint as to the current situation; Father dearest isn't happy.

Also, after reading over some JTHM (I hadn't read any until Jeremy borrowed the first three, and I managed to draw Nny while he's screaming at Schmee.) I have made a resoultion, small or large depending on how you look at it.

I aspire to be the next Jhounen Vasquez. (Hasty decision, I know. Hear me out.) No, I don't mean by taking his comics, nor by taking the skin from his face and wearing it as a mask. I mean by creating comics that go against the social norm, with political and social undertones condemning the actions of today's society. (That, and the fact that JTHM stopped after seven comics really pisses me off, and it's been almost ten years.)

I want to be an artist. Well, that's not actually true, i'm already an artist. I just wish to follow it along the jobline path, most likely either major or minor in it. I've fought myself over that idea for the longest time. Artists have horrible reputations as the poor among the rest of college graduates; Work is hard to find, and even harder to keep steady on. Let's face it, I have horrid problems with human anatomy, and that's just with anime-style drawings. I can't draw anything halfway realistic to save my life. Yes, i'm confessing. I think I suck as an anime/realism artist.

Cartooning, however, I can do. You get to ignore many major hurdles in the form of anatomy and believeability that tack themselves to other forms of drawing. That, and they're just fun to create.

So, at any rate, I shall be attempting to create a new comic style (AGAIN!) and attempting to frantically scribble out a plotline. If all goes well, it won't even compare in similarities to JTHM. I despise those who steal intellectual property; Therefore, I shall take the road less traveled and practice what I preach.

The style, however, will probably be comparable. That, and the lead character will most likely be crazy, but in a less violent sort of way. I'm only doing it this way to lessen accusations of being a raging plagurist. (The insane have more fun.)
